Countdown to the reopening of the Shooting Museum is on

After more than 85 years, the time has come: The Swiss Shooting Museum is receiving a completely new permanent exhibition. Starting in the fall of 2025, interactive elements, unique objects, and personal stories will invite visitors to explore the diverse world of shooting sports.

Since the museum's closure in September 2024, intensive work has been underway to transform the space. A new area is being created within the museum encouraging dialogue about Swiss shooting traditions.

The new exhibition will blend tradition with modernity, showcasing how shooting sports have shaped Swiss culture and history. Highlights will include hands-on stations and an interactive trail for children. Whether families, history enthusiasts, or technology lovers – everyone can look forward to the changes at the Shooting Museum.
