For three years, the association kitchen invited everyone to linger during the summer months. The project was officially completed in September 2025. What remains is the museum garden as a place for breaks and encounters.

Summer program of the hosting association MAZAY

In the summer of 2025, MAZAY acted as the host association for the three-year duration of the association kitchen. During the school holidays, the association organised various events for migrants, museum visitors, people from the neighborhood, and anyone interested in collaboration with the Bern Historical Museum and other partners.

The association MAZAY, based in Bern, was founded in 2018. With over 100 volunteer members, it plays an important role in the social and professional integration of asylum seekers, temporarily admitted persons, and refugees through their commitment to the association.
